Rated Bond Issues
PACG Principals have been instrumental in promoting credit ratings for African countries from the major credit rating agencies. Several African countries have received, or are in the process of receiving, their ratings and are eager to use them to develop the international capital markets as a legitimate source of financing for their public and private sectors.
Private Equity Consolidations, Divestments and Fund-raising
A small number of private equity investors have been key financial partners in African’s mid-market sector. PACG works with its own portfolio companies as well as others to enhance value of its own and its partners’ investments. In addition, PACG has been engaged to provide fund-raising assistance for private equity firms for several new funds.

SME Financing
Governments, development institutions, and major multinationals active in Africa recognize that they will need to provide low-cost financing to small and mid-sized enterprises (“SMEs”) to promote the development of viable businesses in Africa. PACG’s Principals have extensive experience in developing SME financing initiatives. Recent projects include revolving credit facilities, real estate development, and the establishment of regional and single market mutual funds.
